Chapter 18 Losing A Friend

We see Raiden standing in an arena as the crowd cheers. Holds his fist in the air.

Raiden: “Yea”

A giant lizard walks into the arena and drums start to be played.

Raiden: “Come on big boy”

The giant lizard runs at Raiden. Just as it's about to hit him he jumps over it. Raiden looks away grinning. Just then Raiden gets hit by its tail slamming him into the wall. The crowd started booing. Emilia Shouts at Raiden.

Emilia: “STOP SHOWING OFF”

The Lizard then bites Raiden adding the spark in his body to create his element shard. Raiden punches the lizard really hard with his fist and a spark fly's off. The crowd once again cheers. Raiden holds his hand in the air and a Sword of lightning appears.

The Announcer: “His element has been chosen”

The lizard runs at Raiden. He jumps over it, decapitating the lizard. Raiden holds his fists in the air in celebration. Emilia smiles.

Emilia: “Such a show off”

Raiden jumps over the arena wall.

Raiden: “You know it”

Emilia: “Are all royalty this cocky”

Raiden: “It's part of the job description”

Raiden laughs.

Emilia: “Of course it is”

Raiden: “Or maybe I'm just trying to impress a girl”

Emilia: “Raiden be honest with me what type of king do you want to be”

Raiden: “A good one”

Back to the present day..

The Bifrost hits a dark place. Then the whole team walks out.

Leon: “Were definitely are here”

Ika: “This place looks so dead”

Taiki: “That's because the very essence of life was destroyed in this place”

Ika: “What happened!”

Chie: “A war”

Shen: “What's with all these creepy dragon statues”

Leon: “There not statues”

Shen: “What”

Ika: “What do you mean”

Chie: “They are dragons”

Ika: “Your kidding me”

Taiki: “There very life essence was taken from them turning their bodies to stone”

Emi: “Definitely creepy”

Ika: “We seem to be in some sort of arena”

Leon: “We are in the dragonkin arena. This is, well was the place where young dragons get their element”

Just then a lizard crawls out the dark.

Taiki: “Everyone get behind me”

Emi falls to the ground losing her strength. she loses more of her crimson red hair. Now the top of her head is the only red hair she has left. 

Shen: “Emi are you ok”

Emi looks at Shen confused.

Emi: “Who are you, and who is Emi”

Shen notices her eyes are now blue and no longer red

Shen: “Uhh Taiki we have an issue”

Taiki: “What is it! We also have an issue in front of us”

Emi stands up grabbing one of the swords on the floor. She runs past Taiki with the sword slicing the lizard's neck open. She then jumps up and slams the sword down straight through its neck decapitating it.

Emilia: “How yea if Raiden saw that his mouth would drop”

Shen looks at Emi with a surprised face.

Taiki: “Yea I think your issue maybe bigger”

Emilia: “What on Pangea happen around here”

Shen walks over to Emi

Shen: “Emi?”

Emilia: “My name is Emilia not Emi bud”

Taiki: “Where Raidens friends can you help us Emilia”

Emilia: “Any friend of Raidens, Is mine as well. How can I help”

Leon: “We are looking for the dragon king ring”

Emilia: “Well you're certainly in the right place. Follow me”

Emilia starts walking. They all follow her into the king's throne room. 

Emilia: “Yea it should be ov….”

Emi drops back to the ground grabbing her head with her hand. She then looks back up at Shen with red eyes.

Emi: “I'm sorry I passed out for a second there”

Shen: “Emi you didn't pass out Emilia took over”

Emi: “I see I have even less time that we fort”

A tear rolls down Emi’s face.

Ika: “We may have started off on the wrong foot. But I'm glad we became friends”

Emi: “Me to”

Taiki: “I'm sorry Emi”

Leon: “Are you sure you want this”

Chie: “I do not want to see you go. I may of been mean to you but that's just because I didn't want to lose a good friend”

Emi: “Guys its ok”

Emi smiles at the team.

Emi: “The only wish I have was to see Raiden one last time”

Shen: “Then don't give up ”

Taiki: “Stand up”

Chie: “There has to be something here that can help”

Chie starts to cry and she starts rummaging through the room.

Emi: “Chie everyone has their time and their place”

Chie and Ika hug Emi. Taiki then spots the ring on the throne.

Taiki: “Wait a moment! If the ring can save Raiden maybe it”

Taiki quickly picks it up and puts it on Emi's finger.

Taiki: “Can save you as well”

A glow of red light surrounds Emi as her hair goes back to its crimson red.

Emi: “It's working!”

Chie: “Oh good were not losing shame”

Ika: “Chie stop pretending you didn't care”

Shen: “This isn't a forever cure is it”

Taiki: “No sadly. But at least you can say goodbye to Raiden in person”

Shen: “Guys I have a plan”

Chie: “What is it”

Ika: “Don't be doing something stupid”

Leon: “I agree with them”

Shen: “I'm goanna call lucifer out”

Emi: “You what!”

Shen: “I will distract him while you guys get to Raiden”

Taiki: “This is a bad idea. But Shen. If you really think you can do it I will not hold you back”

Ika: “Am I the only one who thinks we should try something else”

Emi: “Ika Shen has grown so much I think he will be ok”

Ika: “But even Raiden could not lay a finger on him”

Leon: “Well that settles that then”

Chie: “Shen I will back you up”

Shen: “But what about your fear”

Chie: “It's okay. I maybe afraid but I also have courage”

Taiki: “Sounds like a good plan. I will fight as well”

Leon: “Well I guess that means I have to as well. So I do not get shown up”

Emi: “So that leaves me and Ika to get to Raiden”

Ika: “Yes”

Taiki: “Let's do this”

1 hour later…

Emi and Ika Bifrost over to Lucifer's castle. However they never found Raiden.

Rajin is sitting at the desk.

Rajin: “Hey Lilith I feel like Lucifer is not a good person”

Zozo appears by the door.

Zozo: “That's because he isn't”

Lilith: “hey Zozo how about you shut up”

Zozo: “I think you should go and explore yourself”

Lilith: “Zozo shush”

Zozo vanishes and takes Lilith with her. Rajin then see’s some amazing dragon artefacts. And start wandering around the castle. 

Meanwhile with the others…

Lucifer walks through the portal.

Lucifer: “So the demon lord is more than a myth. You miscreants have gone to impressive lengths to recover your friend” 

Lucifer lets his aura show.

Lucifer: “I will never under estimate you again. Now I assume the traitor is looking for Raiden as we speak”

Taiki jumps in front of Lucifer.

Taiki: “We hold him here at all costs”

Shen quickly transforms to his demon lord form.

Shen: “Your going down Lucy”

Shen runs in at full speed landing a blow to Lucifer's stomach. Leon then charges her Artimus attack. 

Leon: “GOLDEN ARROW”

Lucifer grabs Shen using him like a shield so Leon's attack hits him.  Taiki runs in using his sword, slams Lucifer into the wall. Lucifer grunts and chucks Shen into Leon. He then catches Taiki’s sword and punches Taiki in the stomach. Taiki then falls down. Chie then starts to run in her fox form. She transforms into a human just as she hits Lucifer. However he grabs her leg slamming her into the ground.

Shen: “This isn't over”

Shen runs at Lucifer rugby tackling him to the ground. They roles over each other until Shen gets slammed into the wall. They are all down and Lucifer looks back at the portal. He slowly walks over towards it.

Lucifer: “Come Emi so might end the dragons forever”

Rajin walks out from behind Lucifer.

Rajin: “I can not allow that to happen Lucifer”

Lucifer: “And why should you care Rajin! You are not a Dragon”

Rajin looks at the ground.

Rajin: “That may be true or yet another lie. However this much I do know my heart allies with them!”

Rajin points at his friends on the floor.

Rajin: “And you, are evil”

Rajin then charges at Lucifer. But Lucifer then hits Rajin in the stomach taking him down in seconds.

Lucifer: “Your heart may be in the right place Rajin. But you have so much to learn before you can ever lay a finger on me”

Rajin tries so hard to stand up with his body shaking.

Lucifer: “But you will never again get that chance”

Lucifer then charges a black flame towards Rajin. Just then Emi comes running out the portal. 

Emi: “Ahhhh”

She kicks him away from Rajin and starts fighting him in the background. Rajin then turns around to see Ika. she holds up the ring to him. Rajin looks at the floor scared.

Rajin: “Are you certain I am worthy”

Ika looks at him and smiles.

Ika: “You were never not”

Ika then slides the ring onto Rajin’s finger. A beam of light starts to come out of the ring. As you see Emi fighting Lucifer in the background. Lucifer catches her and slams her into the wall.

Lucifer: “How lovely for the traitor to join our little fight. Now if you please. The ring!”

Lucifer turns around to see Rajin in a beam of light. Lucifer starts running towards Rajin.

Lucifer: “Nooooooo”

The beam stops and Raiden's eyes light up with lightning. Lucifer Grabs Taiki’s sword and goes to slam it into Raiden.

Lucifer: “No”

Just then Raiden catches it.

Raiden: “Lucifer”

Raiden pulls his fist back and punches Lucifer hard over and over again knocking him off balance. Everyone gets up seeing Raiden winning. Raiden then lands a flying kick sending Lucifer back. The whole team gathers behind Raiden.

Raiden: “Shen how did we arrive here”

Shen: “I will tell you latter bud”

Ika then summons the Bifrost.

Ika: “Lets go”

They all run into the Bifrost and get out of there. Lucifer screams with anger. As they all walk out the Bifrost at the kingdom they start to celebrate.

Taiki: “good to see you back Raiden”

Taiki hand shakes Raiden. Ika starts to cry with happy tears.

Ika: “I'm so glad your back”

Raiden: “The last thing I remember was having my ass kicked by Lucifer. Then I was back in time. It was like I was reliving my past”

Shen: “A lot has changed since you were gone”

Raiden: “How long was I gone”

Emi: “7 months”

Raiden: “Wow”

Emi falls to the ground with her hair going fully silver.

Shen: “Emi!”

Raiden: “Emi are you ok”

Leon: “No she is not. Emi is dying. Well this version of her”

Emi: “I'm just glad I got to say goodbye”

Her eyes start to flicker from red to blue. Shen runs over to Emi hugging her.

Shen: “Thank you for everything”

Everyone looks sad.

Raiden: “Why is this happening”

Leon: “It's the crystal”

Raiden: “The crystal I, oh. Wait Leon your a girl and your a Elf”

Leon: “Have you got a problem”

Emi smiles and laughs. She then completely lays down and her eyes close. Raiden holds her hand. Her eyes become completely blue when she reopens them.

Emilia: “Raiden!”

Emilia quickly sits up.
