Chapter 17 Darkness Grows

We see Raiden walking around Lucifer’s castle with grey eyes and no pupils.

Lucifer: “Rajin who are you”

Raiden: “I'm your friend Rajin”

Lucifer: “Okay as my friend I need you to-do me a favour”

Rajin: “What is it”

Lucifer: “I need you to decrypt this ancient text”

Rajin: “Yes my friend”

Rajin picks up the scroll.

Lucifer: “Zozo takes Rajin to his quarters, he has a lot to do!”

Zozo is standing against the wall with her foot on it and her arms crossed. 

Zozo: “How about you do it yourself”

Lucifer sighs.

Lucifer: “Lilith can you taken Rajin”

Lilith nods her head.

Lilith: “Please come with me Rajin”

Rajin follows her. Lilith leads Rajin to her quarters and as they arrive she opens her door to allow Rajin in. Rajin then walks inside.

Lilith: “Rajin you know my sister , Don't you”

Rajin just looks at her.

Rajin: “Yes”

Lilith: “Tell me more”

Rajin: “I really need to start decrypting this”

Lilith: “How about you do that after”

Lilith pins Rajin to her wall.

Lilith: “If my sister wants you and leaves us to help you. You must be very special”

Lilith stops and lets Rajin go.

Lilith: “You can work here. I will be back latter”

She then leaves her quarters, shutting the door. Rajin then sits down and starts to decode the script. Lilith arrives back in the royal chambers with Lucifer on the chair.

Lilith: “That is all done for you my lord”

Lucifer: “Perfect! with Raiden working on them it means we can start collecting the relics of the Dacians”

Just then you hear a crack on the table with Emi’s crystal. Lucifer looks over at the table.

Zozo: “I'm bored! I'm going out see ya”

Lucifer: “Wait! Zozo I need you to collect Emi”

Zozo: “Yea whatever”

Zozo vanishes!

Lucifer: “Jeez her temper”

Asmodeus walks in.

Asmodeus: “My liege”

Asmodeus kneels.

Lucifer: “Yes Asmodeus”

Asmodeus: “I've been tracking Raiden’s friends and they are up to something”

Lucifer: “Keep watching them. Do not interfere with them or let them know of you”

Asmodeus: “Yes my liege”

Asmodeus quickly vanishes!

Lucifer: “Lilith”

Lilith: “Yes”

Lucifer: “I want you to keep an eye on Raiden. But remember to call him Rajin”

Lilith: “Yes my lord”

Lilith leaves the room.

Lucifer: “This needs to end”

Lucifer clicks his fingers.

Dagan then appears in front of Lucifer kneeling.

Dagan: “Yes my Lord you called”

Lucifer: “Test Raiden's friends, and kill the princes for me”

Dagan: “Yes my Lord. I that all”

Lucifer: “Yes”

Dagan quickly vanishes. Lucifer crosses his legs.

Lucifer: “Yang will not rise again” 

A light beam hits the ground then Emi, Taiki, Ika, Chie, Leon and Shen arrive at an unknown place.

Leon: “Ika and you sure you done it correctly”

Ika: “Yes”

Chie: “You sure”

Ika: “Yes! I focus completely on Raiden”

Emi: “Were here alright”

Taiki: “The issue is where are they keeping Raiden”

Emi: “He was in the dungeon”

Taiki: “Let's split up into pairs”

Shen: “Sounds like a plan”

Chie: “I don't think that's a good idea”

Ika: “We need to find Raiden”

Taiki: “Okay Emi and Shen you go to the dungeon. Chie and Leon explore the west.  While me and Ika will go to the east. Or meet back in in 10m”

Emi starts running and Shen follows. Chie and Leon start running west. Then Taiki and Ika run east.

As Emi is running she comes up to a T junction and suddenly gets kicked into the wall extremely hard making her cough up blood. Shen’s face drops!

Shen: “EMI!” 

Zozo: “Hello traitor. I've come to collect you”

Emi: “Oh Fuck this isn't good”

Zozo’s black angel wings appear.

Zozo: “We can do this the easy way or the hard way”

Zozo cracks her knuckles.

Zozo: “I would prefer the hard way”

Shen: “Is that Zozo the black angel”

Zozo: “I see my reputation precedes me”

Emi: “Shen screw it the only way were getting out here alive is if you use it”

Shen: “But what about…”

Emi: “Just do it”

Zozo quickly appears in front of Shen.

Zozo: “Oh my. Your just giving off demon vibes”

Emi then goes to stand up but then she starts to have an attack. She falls back to the floor shaking.

Shen: “Emi!!!”

Emi’s hair tips that are silver travel further up her hair.

Zozo: “Oh look Emi your suffering front crystal poisoning”

Zozo then grabs Shen by the neck.

Zozo: “You have 2 options you can turn around and leave or option 2 I snap your neck”

Shen: “How about a third”

Shen then transforms, becoming taller and more muscular. His feet become hooves and he grows horns on his head. Zozo’s hand can no longer go around Shen’s neck.

Zozo: “That's why I was feeling demonic energy from you. This will cure my boredom”

Emi stands up.

Emi: “Zozo help me and I'll help you with your project”

Zozo: “Okay the prisoner is in your sisters room”

Emi: “Thank you Zozo”

Zozo: “Just remember if you cross me. You will not like the outcome. See ya Satan”

Zozo winks at Shen and then vanishes.

Emi: “Shen quickly transform back”

Shen then goes back to normal.

Shen: “Well that was a close one but what did she just call me”

Emi: “Don’t worry about it. Quickly we need to get to my sisters room”

Emi and Shen start running back the way they came.

Meanwhile with Taiki and Ika

Taiki and Ika are running when they see a guy standing in the middle of the corridor. 

Dagan: “The princess I prosome”

Taiki: “Ika get behind me”

Dagan: “Oh its a giant”

Taiki: “Yes and this giant is about to kick your ass”

Dagan: “a sense of humour I can not wait to break that”

Chie and Leon arrive behind Taiki and Ika.

Leon: “Oh no it had to be Dagan”

Leon quickly jumps in front of Taiki.

Leon: “On my signal run”

Leon then summons her bow and starts casting.

Dagan: “Oh my a elf”

Dagan licks his lips.

Dagan: “I love turning your race into dark elves and my sex slaves”

Leon: “Yea not happening!”

Leon closes her eyes.

Leon: “Artemis hear my call. Cast down your judgement on this corrupted being. Bring forth justice in this unjust world”

Leon opens her eyes. As an arrow of golden light appears on her bow.

Leon: “Golden Arrow”

The Arrow shoots straight into Dagan launching him out the castle.

Chie: “Wow that was an advanced spell”

Leon: “That will buy us about 2m”

Back with Emi and Shen.

They arrive at Lilith's door. As Asmodeus Is standing at it. Shen shouts.

Shen: “RAIDEN!”

Asmodeus swipes his hand in the air and Emi and Shen are instantly transported back to the city. Then suddenly the others appear behind them.

Shen punches the ground!

Shen: “Dam it!! We were so close”

The others look down at the ground. Zozo appears behind one of the back alleys nearby and Emi spots her. Emi walks over. Zozo puts her foot on the wall and crosses her arms. 

Zozo: “Even if you got to him it wouldn't of made a difference”

Emi: “Why!”

Zozo: “Lucy has him under mind control”

Emi: “I think we're goanna need the dragon king ring”

Zozo: “There is no we!”

Emi: “What happened to helping”

Zozo: “I have”

Zozo vanishes.

The others catch up with Emi.

Taiki: “What was that about”

Emi: “Even if we got to him, it would of not helped”

Shen: “Why”

Emi: “He is been mind controlled aka he isn't Raiden”

Taiki: “What do we do now”

Emi: “The dragon king ring”

Leon: “Yes! That could work”

Chie: “The problem is. Where is it”

Ika: “Well I've heard that it was stored in the fallen kingdom of dragons”

Shen: “Emi you do not have a lot of time left. Look at you. One of your eyes are now blue and your hair is half silver”

Emi: “Guys don’t worry, I'm good. Believe me”

Taiki: “You don't look it” 

Leon: “This is like dying. When this is over this version of you will be dead”

Emi: “I'm ok with that, Raiden risked everything for me. I will do the same for him”

Chie: “I feel that”

Ika: “Me as well”

Emi: “Besides Emilia cares just as much I do about Raiden”

Taiki: “I guess next stop is the ruined kingdom of dragons”
