Chapter 16 A Mothers Anger

Raiden is seen hunched over laying on the floor with his eyes completely blank. We start seeing into his mind showing he is trapped inside while his body is just there. Raiden wakes up in a room.

Emilia: “Hey Raiden Wake up”

Raiden: “Huh what”

Emilia: “Raiden we do not have time come on it's your dragonkin celebration. Today is the day you find your element”

Raiden wipes his eyes.

Raiden: “My my element”

Emilia: “yes now move it”

Emilia grabs Raiden, pulling him out of bed. She drags him out of his room.

Raiden: “Okay okay I'm awake. I had such a weird dream.”

Emilia: “WHAT! Tell me”

Raiden: “I dreamed about being far in the future when you were there but you lost your way. I had a best friend called Shen and Ika and and. I can remember my head feels so fuzzy”

Emilia: “Its ok Raiden”

Raiden: “You were called Emi instead”

Emilia giggles.

Emilia: “why would I ever shorten my name like that? I'm a hero. It's just a silly dream”

Raiden holds his head.

Raiden: “Well let's get my dragonkin festival started”

They walk down the stairs. While a voice calls out.

White spirit: “Raiden! Raiden! Focus. It's a dream”

Raiden looks around.

Emilia: “You ok”

Raiden: “Yea its nothing”

Raiden walks through the doors seeing lots of people. As they walk through the giant room. Raiden looks forward to seeing his father standing at the throne. 

Yin: “Son how does your big day feel”

Raiden: “It feels amazing finally going to get my element”

A guy all in black stands to the side of Yin.

Yang: “Don't get to cocky nephew”

Yin: “Brother be nice to my son”

Raiden gets to the throne and kneels in front of his father.

Yin: “Now swear to uphold peace and justice”

Raiden: “I swear”

Yin: “Swear to carry hope even in the darkest of times”

Raiden: “I swear!”

Yin: “On this day you will begin your Dragonkin Awakening. Now stand my son”

Raiden stands and makes his way to the arena.

White Spirit: “Raiden snap out of it”

Raiden: “Hey Emilia think I just heard fathers voice”

Emilia: “It's your mind playing tricks on you. I bet it's all this stress”

Cuts out of Raiden's mind back to Chie…

Ahri: “What did I say to you daughter your banished for the sins your committed now leave before I force you to”

Chie: “Mother please just listen to me. My friends need to become stronger if they don't. The man I love will die. He will die. Didn't you make a Val to protect Yin’s son well right now he is captured by Lucifer”

Ahri: “And tell me why. Why is the son of Yin in the enemies hands”

Chie: “Because he was being a hero”

Ahri: “Yin your son has to take after you doesn't he. Fine, we will help train these friends of yours. But Chie if you defy me again Your punishment will be far worse than banishment”

Chie: “Thank you mother”

Ahri: “Now show me these friends of yours”

Chie leads her mother outside where she finds Zark.

Chie: “Hey brother where are my friends”

Zark: “Princess Ika is in room 4. Taiki is in room 5 and Leon is in my room. I'll grab them for you”

2m later and they are all standing outside.

Ahri: “Lovely to meet you 2 and Leon nice to see you again”

Ika: “Its a honour and a privilege to meet you mama”

Ahri: “Please you do not have to be so formal. Lovely to meet you as well. I see you have made some good friends”

Chie blushes. 

Chie: “So about training”

Ahri: “Considering you want to fight the generals you're goanna have to grow much stronger. You all have high potential”

Chie: “glad to hear that”

Ahri: “You know that even I am not a match for lucifer. The only person who can take him down is Raiden himself. Well the old Raiden that is”

Leon: “Ahri to soon”

Ahri: “Oh I apologise Leon”

Leon: “You and I and the only ones who know the truth”

Taiki: “What truth”

Leon: “Nothing you need to know yet”

Chie: “Oh mother there is 2 others that will be joining us at some point but there currently at there own task”

Ahri: “Okay we will prep for them”

As we see the Scythe get placed down we go back to Emi and Shen….

Shen: “Take this”

Shen lands a big blow on Emi, cursing her to cough up blood.

Emi: “Okay okay training is done for now”

Emi breaths heavy trying hard to recover from that hit. Shen sits down.

Shen: “I cant believe its been 6 months already”

Emi: “Yea the good part about this place is time moves differently and we do not have worry about food or water ”

Shen: “How many days has it been on the outside?”

Emi: “It has been about 4 days”

Shen: “No way”

Emi: “Yep I also can’t believe how fast you have grown. You have your body creating its own corrupted mana and you can transform at will. The best part is you have managed to keep your humanity”

Shen: “I have only done that because of you”

Emi: “The credit is yours”

Suddenly Emi grabs her head in pain. She starts screaming.

Shen: “Emi these attacks are getting worse everyday”

Shen grabs her focus on my voice. Emi starts to remember a memory.

Raiden: “Come on Emilia you can never give up on your dream. I know you will become the hero”

She snaps back to reality.

Emi: “What was that? I just saw Raiden but he called me Emilia and I was human”

Shen: “Its okay I'm here”

Emi: “I know what the course of this is”

Shen: “What is it”

Emi: “It's the Crystal not being near me. I'm getting weaker as time goes on. Anyway I think you are ready”

Shen: “Are you sure”

Emi: “Yes. You can stay in the demon lord form without losing mana now as well”

Shen: “I guess you're right”

Emi stands up and so does Shen.

Shen: “Still not sure about this”

Emi: “You can take me down at full power. Your fine”

Emi starts to open up a portal then her and Shen walkthrough. They appear by Emi’s scythe. 

Emi: “Well it looks like we have arrived”

Shen: “Where are we”

Emi: “At Chie's village. Remember do not use the demon lord transformation unless it's necessary”

Shen: “ok”

Emi: “As soon as you use it, Lucifer will feel it”

Shen: “The only thing he will feel is a punch to the face”

Just then Shen walks in.

Chie: “Hey you guys are finally back”

Shen: “Yep and I have also mastered my new powers”

Chie: “I'm still not sure about that”

Emi: “You don't need to worry, Shen is in complete control”

Leon and Taiki walk in.

Taiki: “Damn look at you Shen you seem a lot stronger, you want to spare”

Shen: “Sure”

Shen and Taiki walk out of the room into the garden.

Shen: “Just a heads up I can not transform unless its urgent”

Taiki: “Come on stop talking and fight”

Taiki slams his big fist into the ground, causing Shen to be off balance. Shen then falls to the ground while Taiki begins to run towards Shen. Shen then quickly vanishes in front of Taiki.

Taiki: “What, Where did”

Just then Shen appears right in front of Taiki pulling his fist back punching Taiki’s face. This punch creates a shockwave and Taiki goes into his own crater.

Taiki: “Man that's goanna leave a mark”

Taiki touches his face.

Taiki: “I completely lost you for a second there”

Shen: “Yea I bet, I was going very fast there”

Chie walks over to Shen.

Chie: “Hey Shen let me see your new speed”

Shen: “Okay”

Shen starts running around the garden then Chie starts following him.

Taiki: “Oh lord I can't even see them”

Chie: “Well Shen! you have gotten way faster”

Shen: “I'M NOT EVEN TRYING”

Shen then Doubles his speed going so fast everyone else around him slows down.

Emi Screams! 

Emi: “Shen Stop your leaking the demon lord aura”

Shen then quickly Slides across the floor stopping. Chie also stops. 

Shen: “I went a bit overboard”

Emi: “You think”

Emi then falls to the ground once again losing all her strength. Taiki quickly rushes over to her then holds her up. Her hair starts to change colour at the tips becoming silver. 

Shen: “Emi are you ok”

Emi stands up.

Emi: “I'm fine” 

She then quickly falls back to the ground.

Chie: “Your clearly not”

Shen: “Chie it has something to do with the crystal”

Leon and Ahri see Emi

Ahri: “The Crystal not being around is making Emi become who she originally was”

Leon: “She is becoming Emilia one of the 7 Hero's”

Emi: “That explains these memories that are not mine”

Shen and Taiki wrap her arms around their necks.

Ahri: “The longer she is away from the crystal the more she will change”

Leon: “Who Emi is now will die and be replaced by who she was”

Ika comes out of the house.

Ika: “Emi are you okay”

Emi: “I'm fine”

Taiki: “As everyone is here it turns out we have a time limit. We need to get Emi back to the crystal as quick as possible”

Shen clenches his fist.

Shen: “We have already lost Raiden I will not let us lose Emi as well”

Ahri: “As you're all on a time limit and you didn't really get to train. I can at least unlock your potential”

Ahri walks up to Taiki and puts her hand on his head. All her 9 white tails appear as she closes her eyes and then reopens them. She then walks over to Leon.

Ahri: “It's time to no longer hold back”

Ahri then walks over to Ika and puts her hand on her head. She closes her eyes once again pulling her potential to the surface. 

Ahri: “Now go!”

Leon looks at Ika.

Leon: “Remember what I taught you”

Ika closes her eyes and puts both of her hands out.

Leon: “Remember feel for the branches”

A beam of light then starts to hit the ground in front of them

Leon: “She has done it!!! She summoned the Bifrost”

Taiki: “Everyone get in now”

Taiki, Chie, Leon, Emi, Shen and Ika Run into the light. The beam of light stops and they're all gone.

Ahri: “Good luck everyone”
