Chapter 15 Where Do We Go From Here

Last time on DragonSoul! Raiden attempts to fight Lucifer and fails miserably. Lucifer then takes Raiden while the rest of the team stands there, not being able to do anything. As Lucifer leaves, Emi shows up and apologies. The team then plans to go to Chie’s home to ask for help and to get stronger.

Emi: “Right let's break this down. Lucifer is the king of the demon realm and he has 7 generals including me. We are called the seven princes of hell. I'm Emi, the sin of gluttony. Next up we have Asmodeus. He is Lucifer's most trusted advisor and the sin of envy. He is also Lucifer's eyes and ears”

Taiki: “This is goanna be tough, how powerful is Asmodeus?”

Emi: “Remember Black”

They all nod. Chie puts her foot on the wall behind her.

Emi: “Well Asmodeus could flick him and he would be down. Take in mind He is also the weakest out of us”

Taiki SLAMS HIS FIST ON THE TABLE.

Taiki: “Damn it!”

Leon: “Taiki calm down. Emi carry on”

Emi: “Next is Dagan”

Shen clenches his fist.

Shen: “I know of him. A terrible creature. All he does is take and kill”

Emi: “Yes all he wants is to find strong people and make them fight to the death. After the person wins he will kill their family in front of them. Filling them with rage and dark energy. Turning them into demons”

Ika: “That's so terrible”

Emi: “He is also more powerful then me in fact he is the second strongest of the Generals”

Chie: “I know the strongest Zozo or also known as the black angel!”

Emi: “Yes that's right. She will not really get in our way. She may be one of the princes of hell but lucky for us she has her own agender”

Chie: “Lets just hope that's true”

Emi: “Now the easiest one to deal with Mammon. He is the General who gets everyone to do stuff for him. He is very powerful if he gets off his ass. However he is very loyal to Lucifer”

Taiki: “hmm”

Leon: “So two left”

Emi: “Yes Lilith and Levi. Lilith the mother of all demons and the sin of Lust and is my younger sister. Then Levi is a prideful Devil full of multiple tricks. But more importantly right now you are all too weak.”

Chie: “Right we have wasted enough time lets go”

They all start to make their way west of the kingdom. They all work down a stretch of road. Walking through fields to swampland to forests. Emi starts walking with Shen.

Emi: “Hey what's your name”

Shen: “It's Shen do you not remember me ”

Emi: “Oh wait yes you're the guy who can really run fast”

Shen: “Yes”

Emi: “There is something inside of you. That I thought you would like to know. You have the demon spark”

Shen: “What are you talking about”

Emi: “It's a power that belongs to all potential demon lords”

Chie: “It's true that's why I was very suspicious of showing myself to you, Shen”

Emi: “Some people are born with others who acquire it from doing bad things. However this spark can bring you immense power. If you would like, I will teach you how to use it”

Shen: “If it gives me the power to be able help Raiden then show me”

Chie: “Wants you to go down that path Shen. There is no coming back”

Emi: “He will be fine”

Chie: “I deleted that. I've seen what that has done to people before. Good people”

Emi : “I will be honest with you, the power of the demon lord is immense and could be the only way we could stand a chance against Lucifer. But it is your choice”

Chie catches up with the carriage and the rest of the team.

Shen: “What do I have to-do for this power”

Emi: “Give up your humanity. There is one other thing I will tell you but you can not tell anyone else”

Shen nods his head

Emi: “So Demons and Devils are different races. A demon can come from any race however A devil like me is not from this world. I am well Devils are related to angels you could say were a subspecies of them”

Shen: “Ok that sounds understandable but does that mean it's the same for angels? Are they also not from this world”

Emi: “Yes that is correct in fact lots of the races in this world are from other worlds. Humans and Dragons. But this is much as I can tell you for the time”

Shen looks dumbfounded.

Shen: “Wait, we're not from this world as well. What the hell!

Please just tell me about Where were from”

Emi: “I will tell you some other time. But right now I need to tell you one more thing. Each general that will fall will have a Dark Crystal. Under all circumstances they must not be brought together”

Shen: ”Why”

Emi: “A great evil, even Lucifer would never let that happen. That's why I gave mine to Raiden. I was hoping he would keep it safe. However I wasn't expecting the idiot to go and face him. The crystals Boost our power 10x”

Shen: “Does the crystals power stack say if I had 3 would my power be 30x?”

Emi: “Yes but never do it the more you possess the more the crystals have influence over you”

Shen: “I see. Well anyway so the training”

Emi puts her hand to her eye.

Emi: “Oh yes. The first step is we need to awaken the power but we will have to-do this is my spiritual zone”

Emi Grabs her scythe from a portal. She then catches up with the carriage.

Emi: “Hey we're goanna be gone for a bit I'm leaving my scythe here so we have a way back”

Taki nods while Chie looks away annoyed. Ika and Leon smile. Emi puts her scythe in the back of the carriage. She then grabs Shen's hands pulling him through her portal.

Shen: “Wow. what is this place”

Emi: “the place where your goanna become a demon lord”

Shen hand becomes a fist.

Shen: “I will become stronger for you Raiden”

Emi: “first awakening the power deep within you. Give me our hand were goanna do the short cut”

Shen hands his hand to Emi. They hold hands.

Shen: “Uhh this is kinder 0f embarrassing”

Emi: “Focus! I'm goanna start passing my Demonic Mana into you. Prepare this might sting”

Emi begins transferring her Demonic Mana into Shen. She starts to Grunt in pain.

Shen: “A sting is a understatement my body feels that it's on fire”

Emi: “Stop resisting it. The more you resist the more potent it becomes”

Black sparks start appearing around Shen. All his clothes start burning away.

Shen: “It's too much”

Emi: “Like I said stop resisting the darkness”

Emi stops and the black sparks stop around Shen. His clothes look torn and burnt.

Emi: “Look Shen the mana you are currently using is the light side well I use the dark side. When you resist it. It will destroy your very being. You have to let go of the light you can not retain both. Only one race can”

Shen grabs his head.

Shen: “Ahhh Fine”

Emi: “Look this will not change who you are. think of it this way. Say we have a cup of water and a cup of oil. You will see these two things can not be mixed together so if you want to switch between the two you have to empty one for the other. Oil is the demonic mana and the water is the light mana. Once you have started using the oil you can no longer use the water”

Shen: “Then how do I empty my normal mana”

Emi: “Just let it flow out as I put mine into you”

Shen: “Ok can we try again”

Emi starts the transfer again. The black sparks appear once again. This time Shen doesn't look in pain.

Emi: “Yes your doing it”

All of a sudden a blue flame appears on Shen's chest. Shen appears full of changes. His body becomes bulkier while his feet become hooves and he grows horns on his head. Even Shen's voice becomes deeper.

Shen: “Wow I feel incredible”

Emi Stops the transfer.

Emi: “There we have awakened the demon lord's power. Careful your body needs to become a customer to this state”

Shen Then starts using his Speed spells and he notices he is so much faster.

Emi: “What did I just say Shen. Stop your body isn't use to it yet”

Shen Stops.

Shen: “I cant believe that's all it took for me become stronger”

Emi: “Well this isn't permanent. Your body isn't producing its own demonic mana yet”

Shen: “Then how do we do that”

Emi: “There isn't a cheat code for that. Your body has to adjust and when it releases it will start to create it itself. But for now we should spar but do not use any magic”

Shen: “But how would I even keep up with you

Emi: “This is practice not a real fight”

Emi Quickly goes in for a kick. Shen catches her foot with his hand, throwing her back.

Shen: “What the, it's not just my strength that's increased. Its my reflexes as well”

Shen goes to punch Emi but misses and hits the ground creating a small crater.

Emi: “Damn that was close”

Shen looks at his fist.

Shen: “That punch was about the same strength as one of Raiden's powered up punches. But I'm doing it without any magic”

Emi: “Come on focus on the”

Emi lands a hit on the back of his neck sending Shen into the floor.

Emi: “Fight”

Shen: “Ok that was a cheap shot”

Shen goes for a punch into Emi’s abs. Then suddenly Shen goes back to normal. His fist hits Emi’s abs.

Shen: “Ouch”

Shen quickly pulls his fist back. Emi starts laughing.

Emi: “Well you ran out of steam”

Shen: “It's not fair i almost landed a hit”

Emi: “Try transform back”

Shen looks at the ground trying his hardest to transform.

Emi: “Here you just needs a little help”

Emi puts her hand on Shen's shoulder transferring some more demonic mana into him. Shen instantly transforms again.

Shen: “That was so much easier that time”

Emi: “That's a good sign”

Once again they begin to battle. Shen lands a punch on Emi in the gut. Emi gets forced back by the power as she slides back she grins. She lifts her leg up doing a spinning kick hitting Shen. Then as time goes on in their battle Shen starts to use his magic making him even faster. At this point Emi can no longer keep up with his speed. 

Emi: “Its seems your body has fully adjusted”

Shen: “You noticed to ha”

Cuts back to the rest of the team

Ika: “They have certainly been gone for a long time”

Taiki: “Yea I expect so they are training, Hey Chie how much longer”

Chie: “It's just around the corner now”

Leon: “I'm getting pumped”

Chie: “Hey Leon when are you goanna stop using illusion magic to keep hiding what you are”

Leon: “Huh I have no idea what you are talking about”

Leon looks surprised and looks away.

Chie stops and looks at Leon and her eyes glow.

Chie: “I can see your true form and right now we need you to teach Ika and stop messing around”

Leon: “Well  guess the gig is up”

Leon’s form changes to a cute short elf girl with blond hair. Ika and Taki start to freak out.

Ika: “You were an elf!”

Leon: “Yep I guess there's no point hiding it anymore as Chie figured it out. So my princess you could say I was assigned to protect the royal family. I have been doing it for many years”

Taiki: “How long have you”

Leon: “hmmm let me think I guess I have been doing ever since the legendary heroes fell”

Taiki: “Wait what”

Ika: “If I'm correct that's 4,000 years ago”

Leon: “nope it was more like 9,000 years ago, it's been a long job”

Ika: “Hey if you don't mind answering a question of mine”

Leon: “Yea sure what is it”

Ika: “Why”

Leon: “I cant revival until he re awakens”

Taiki: “Who re awakens”

Leon: “I can't tell you”

Chie: “Hey stop the chatting we are here”

They all look up to see an old fashioned Japanese shrine entrance.  As they begin to enter they are quickly stopped by a male kitsune.

Male Kitsune: “You can not enter this sacred place”

Chie: “Oh hi doofus it's me”

Male Kitsune: “Oh fantastic Mothers goanna be pleased to see you”

Chie: “Hey brother is that sarcasm I can hear”

The Male Kitsune snarls at Chie.

Chie: “Just let us in already”

Male Kitsune: “Your telling me to let in a Half elf and a giant”

Chie: “”uhh just do it already it's not hard”

The male kitsune stands down letting them in. 

Male Kitsune: “Hello you two my name is Zark”

He bends down to bowl.

Ika: “Nice to meet you Zark I am prices Ika from the kingdom of Etrium”

Ika curtsey.

Taiki: “I am Taiki the chief of Harsh”

Zark: “Chie why didn't you say she was a princess. Please forgive my rudeness princes Ika”

Leon: “And I need no introduction considering you already know me little Zarky”

Leon glances at Zark looking smug. Zark then looks at Leon Irritated.

Zark: “I can always kick you out Leon”

Zark looks at her with a fake smile.

Chie: “Come on, we're wasting time. Zark take them to somewhere they can stay and I'll go and speak to mother”

Zark nods his head. Zark takes them while Chie walks off. Chie ends up in a big room.

Chie: “Hey mother it's lovely to see you”

Ahri: “what are you doing here daughter you were banished”
