Chapter 7 The White Spirit

Raiden stands up. 

Taiki:    “I have some stuff I need to tell you” 

Taiki puts his hand on Raiden’s shoulder. Raiden smiles.

Raiden:    “What is it?” 

Taiki:    “Alone” 

Taiki and Raiden walk away. You see them begin to talk. Raiden's happy face goes to sadness. Raiden then walks off. 

Shen:    “What was that about” 

Ika then runs after Raiden. Taiki walks over to Shen. 

Taiki:   “The only way to stop it, We had to removes his powers” 

Shen:  “Remove his powers, Hold up you said WE” 

Taiki:     “Yea, But that's not the most important part” 

Shen:    “What do you mean” 

Taiki:     “I now know what Raiden is, And now his powers are gone it confirms it” 

Shen:     “What is he?, I always just thought he was human” 

Taiki:    “He is a race we thought didn't exist” 

Shen:     “What?”   

Taiki:     “Look at the way he looked after I removed his powers, Take a good long look”    

Shen:      “You're not saying what I think you are, Are you!” 

Taiki:     “Yep, And what makes it worse is I now have to train him” 

Shen:     “He was talking about that before all this happened” 

Taiki:     “Look Shen, There is something else in his body with him, I do not know if its good or bad but I  had to listen to him we had no choice so that's why he no longer has his powers”  

Shen:     “WHAT THE FUCK TAIKI YOU JUST LISTEN TO A COMPLET STRANGER” 

Taiki:       “It told me to train him, He told me his body was to weak for his power and that he needs to be trained to use his power correctly” 

Shen:    "You should of checked with us first, You have no idea what that could of done"  

Cut to Raiden and ika……  

You see Raiden crawled up in a ball sat against a wall with his face hidden. 

Ika:     "You ok dummy" 

Ika smiles. Raiden does not respond. Ika sits down next to him.

Ika:     “Ok I will just sit here next to you, Until you talk to me” 

Raiden:    "I'm now useless I'm completely powerless and the one thing that made me special is now gone"

Ika leans her head on Raiden. 

Ika:    "Do you really think it was your powers that made you special!, Your completely wrong" 

Raiden:    "What are you talking about" 

Ika:    "It's who you are that makes you special not what you have" 

Raiden:    "But look at what I look like now!"  

Ika:    "To me you just look more goofy than normal" 

Ika giggles. Raiden looks at her with a face of confusion. Then out of nowhere after he finally looked up she kissed him on the cheek. 

Raiden:    "Wait what!" 

Ika:   "Even if you do not think your special,  Your special to me"   

Raiden:    "I am?"  

Ika:   "Everyone is special to someone, Now are you giving up?" 

Raiden stands up and smiles. 

Raiden:    "Thank you Ika, And no I'm not giving up" 

Ika:    "See dummy that is your true power"  

Raiden gives Ika a hug. 

Ika:     "Getting a bit cozy with me ain't you" 

Ika blushes. 

Raiden:    "Thank you I now know what to do"  

Cut’s back to Shen and Taiki….. 

Shen and Taiki are arguing when Raiden shows up with Ika just behind him. 

Raiden:    "You two cut it out, Taiki made the decision he had to, Today I found out just how week and reckless I really am it's about time I fix that" 

Shen:      "But he should of told us" 

Raiden:      "Shen its ok" 

Taiki:      "Shen has caught me up  3 days until the wall will collapse you got a lot of stuff to learn" 

Ika:      "I know he can do it" 

Shen rolls his eyes. 

Shen:    "Well then, We have not got time to waste standing around here" 

Later that day.

Raiden and Taiki are standing outside Taiki's Tempol. 

Taiki:      "Were going to have to start from the very beginning" 

Raiden:    "Wait, what do you mean from the very beginning!!" 

Raiden mumbles to himself. This is going to be a pain.

Taiki:      "Were starting at mana control"

Raiden:     "What are you serious!" 

You see Ika sat on the wall giggling. 

Taiki:      "Yes your mana control is very poor" 

Raiden:      "Fine, what do u want me to-do" 

Taiki gives Raiden a crystal. 

Taiki:     "I want you to put your mana in it without out breaking the crystal" 

Raiden freaks out. 

Raiden:    "That's impossible" 

Taiki:    "Were just getting started, And if you can't do that you will never get your powers back" 

Ika:     "Taiki that was uncalled for" 

Taiki:     "He will never learn unless he hears the truth" 

Ika:      "But somethings are best not said"  

Raiden:    "do I get a say" 

Taiki and Ika:    "No!" 

Ika storms off. 

Raiden:     "Ika come back!" 

Taiki:      "Raiden stop we do not have time at least if your going after her take the crystal" 

Raiden:    "Fine!"  

Raiden runs after her. 

Raiden:     "Ika stop" 

Ika:     "Why should I, I don't like the way he is trying to train you"  

Raiden:      "He means well Ika" 

Ika looks at Raiden. She has tears rolling down her eyes.  

Ika:   "I know" 

Raiden gets the crystal out.

Raiden:     "How about you train me, I've never been any good at this" 

she wipes the tears from her eyes. 

Ika:       "Of course I will help you" 

Raiden smiles. 

Raiden:     "Show me"   

Ika:     "Ok listening up, For this to work you need to constraint,  Remember your mana is like a river, you need to choose how much water to put through it without flooding it." 

Raiden:     "I don't get it" 

Ika:     "Ok Raiden,  Close your eyes"

 She puts her hands on his. 

Ika:     "Don't think about the crystal feel it instead and then let your mana flow in to it" 

Raiden slows down his breathing and relaxes; He then opens his eyes to the crystal glowing but not breaking. 

Ika:     "Your doing it don't break your concentration" 

Ika smiles.  

Ika:      "The next step is to do this without thinking, But this bit could take days to learn" 

Raiden:     "Is there any short cuts" 

Before Ika can put out a word, Taiki and Shen walk out.

Taiki:      "Short cuts is the reason your in this mess" 

Shen:       "Taiki is right Raiden, All three of us are going to teach you, Myself well teach you proper hand to hand combat" 

Ika smiles. 

Ika:       "I'm going to teach you mana control"

Taiki: "I  will teach you weapon combat" 

Raiden:     "Ok lets get my powers back so we have a chance" 

Ika holds Raidens hand. 

Ika:      "Like we practiced earlier me and you are going to head in to the forest so It's full of distractions" 

Raiden:     "Ok Ika, we all meet back here tonight" 

Taiki:    "I better start packing" 

Shen:      "I will give you a hand Taiki" 

Taiki and Shen walk off. Ika then drags Raiden to the forest. 

Raiden:       "Well, we're here!" 

Ika:        "You got this dummy" 

Raiden sits down.
